St. John Ambulance Alberta Council

St. John Ambulance Alberta Council was established in Alberta in 1897 and has been providing First Aid services and training to Alberta Communities ever since.


Quick Facts:

• There are seven Training Centres in communities across Alberta
   (Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Grande Prairie,
   Fort McMurray, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat)

• More than 600 volunteers provide over 80,000 volunteer hours annually

• SJA has more than 1,000 certified instructors across the province

• SJA First Aid and CPR programs contain the latest protocols

• SJA First AId courses meet provincial and federal regulations

• More than130,000 Albertans are issued certificates in First Aid, CPR and workplace safety
  courses each year
• You can purchase First Aid kits and supplies for use at work, home and play

• You can purchase OH&S Kits for your workplace

• SJA supports humanitarian relief efforts across Canada and around the world.

The Board of Directors

Priory Chapter Membership
The Priory Chapter is the governing body of the Priory of Canada (and thereby St. John Ambulance in Canada) and represents the membership across the country. Priory Chapter derives its authority from the Royal Charters, Statutes and Regulations of the Order of St. John, the Bylaws and Priory Rules. More»
