In just 1 day you can learn enough to save someone's life.

Looking for a First Aid course:

  •       For a 4-hour introduction to basic First Aid?
          Take a Lifesaver Course. Call your local Centre for dates and times


  •      For a 1-day introduction to basic First Aid?
          Take the Emergency First Aid course which covers the basics: 

                        The first things to do when you come upon someone who
                        is obviously in need of medical help.

                        Basic First Aid for shock and unconsciousness, severe 
                        bleeding, head & spinal injuries, major medical conditions

                        What to do if an adult is choking
     
                        Training and certification in CPR for adults

                        Training and certification in AED (Automated External Defibrilator)

                        Receive Emergency First Aid certificate valid for 3 years

                        

  •        For a 2-day, more in depth First Aid course?
             Take the Standard First Aid course which covers:

                 All the skills in Emergency First Aid plus 

                 F
    irst Aid for other injuries and illnesses including head
                 and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs

                       Includes Level C CPR training and certification
                       (Adult, Child, Infant, and 2-rescuer resuscitation)

                       and AED training and certification

                       Receive Standard First Aid certificate valid for 3 years 

           

                       Course is designed for professional child care workers, but
                       great for parents and all caregivers. 

                       Includes emergency life saving skills and First Aid topics
                       with a focus on children

                       Includes Level C CPR (adult, infant, child and 2-rescuer
                       resuscitation). Min. age: 16 years

                       Receive Standard First Aid certificate valid for 3 years, 
                       a CPR certificate, and an AED certificate
