CPR-C for Targeted Responders

This course provides CPR-C training for targeted responders including firefighters, workplace first aiders, life-guards, and others whose environment poses a moderate to high risk of having to perform CPR on adults, children and infants within the community or workplace (not in a hospital setting). Lesson topics are presented through a variety of instructor-led activities, DVDs, review, and skills practice sessions. 
Contents include:
Emergency Scene Management
Shock, Unconsciousness & Fainting
Choking
Artificial Respiration
CPR and Introduction to AED
One Rescuer Adult CPR
Child Resuscitation
Infant Resuscitation
Two Rescuer CPR
Total time: 5:30 plus 45 minute break
 
CPR-C Recertification for Targeted Responders
An advanced course designed for targeted responders including firefighters, workplace first aiders, life-guards, and others whose environment poses a moderate to high risk of having to perform CPR on adults, children and infants within the community or workplace (not in a hospital setting) and who have taken the course at least two times previously and hold a current CPR-C certificate. Lesson topics are presented through DVDs, review, and skills practice sessions.

Choking
Cardiovascular Emergencies
Adult CPR
Introduction to AED
Child Resuscitation
Infant Resuscitation
Two Rescuer CPR
Total time: 3:45 plus 15 minute break
