The technician program will help you achieve the knowledge and the skill to understand vehicle restraint systems, the four stages of children’s restraint systems and how to install both the child seat and the child into the vehicle. This three-day training course, which includes a 2-4 hour car seat clinic, will give you the certification to inspect children’s restraint systems. This certification is valid across Canada for three years.
