Emergency First Aid — Industry
(BC-ESO)

Suitable For:

• Anyone wishing to work as a First Aid attendant in BC
• An optional Alberta Endorsement add-on will qualify the OFA Level 1 attendant to work as an Emergency First-Aider in Alberta

Meets First Aid Requirements For:

• Canada Labour Code (Basic First Aid)
• WorkSafeBC (OFA Level 1)
• Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Emergency First Aid (if Alberta Endorsement is completed)

Pre-Requisites:

• 16 years of age and able to understand and perform the required first aid and CPR skills
• Pre-reading strongly recommended

• Marine Basic (add-on) will qualify the student under Transport Canada

Meets First Aid Requirements For:

• Canada LaBour Code (Standard First Aid)
• Transport Canada - Marine (additional supplement required)
• WorkSafeBC (OFA Level 1)
• Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Emergency First Aid
