Course Description
These comprehensive two-day certification Standard First Aid courses provide basic first aid knowledge to care for adults, children and infants in case of an emergency. There are some variations in the courses to suite different areas of specialization and occupations. AT the conclusion of the course, there is a multiple choice written exam. Upon successful completion, participants receive a national St. John Ambulance first aid certificate valid for 3 years. These Standard First Aid courses do NOT provide WorkSafeBC Level 1 certification.

Meets Frist Aid Requirements For:
  • Canada Labour Code (Standard First Aid)
 
  • St. John Ambulance (Standard for Wilderness)
  • Marine Basic First Aid
Pre-Requisits:
  • Physically able to perform the requried first aid and CPR skills
  • Pre-reading strongly recommended
  • Physically able to perform required skills
  • Pre-reading strongly recommended
