First Aid Instructor Development Training – April 2011

SJA held a first aid instructor development training in April. The first two days included a skill circuit allowing Haitian instructors to get hands-on experience in a variety of first aid scenarios they were likely to encounter while on duty, concurrently re-enforcing their instructor skills to present information to students and develop an environment conducive to learning. Following the workshop, instructors applied their skills to train 26 members of the HNP in standard first aid and CPR.
