Steven D. Gaetz

Steven has been the senior executive officer of St John Manitoba since August of 2005. He has over 20 years experience as an Executive Director/C.E.O. in University Administration, the theatre and now with St. John Ambulance.
As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), assumes overall responsibility for the operations of St. John Ambulance NWT, Manitoba and Nunavut including the management and leadership of all employees and contract staff positions. He provides effective leadership for the organization’s operations. Together, the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and National Office work collaboratively to generate results that are focused on meeting customer needs and service to the community. Within a federated structure, Steven sits on the National Management Team, comprised of the CEOs from each provincial / territorial St. John Ambulance Office. Together, the National Management Team provides leadership and guidance on national strategic initiatives.
Steven has served on 9 local and national Boards of Directors including most recently the United Way Employee Benefits plan Board of Trustees for Manitoba. He is a former President of his National peer Association and has presented seminars on various topics in Canada and abroad.
