Follow New Brunswick Therapy Dog visitation guidelines
Follow facility regulations
Attend training and volunteer meetings
Maintain contact with local Therapy Dog coordinator |

Qualifications:

Police Record Check
3 character references
Personal interview
Successful completion of National Therapy Dog evaluation
Successful completion of supervised visits by designated individuals |

People skills:

Professional in appearance and nature
Ability to react to situations quickly
High level of communication skills are necessary
Interest in spending time with the elderly |
