St. John Ambulance Gould's Division Honour Volunteers!

The St. John Ambulance Goulds Division Annual Review took place on July 7th at the Lions Club, Bidgoods Plaza. The event consisted of an awards presentation honouring the volunteers for their ongoing support to their community. Seven volunteers were recognized for their outstanding contribution and received Voluntary Community Service awards. In addition, seven volunteers also received awards for their years of service recognizing their loyalty to St. John Ambulance and their community.

Volunteers with the Division also gave a mock demonstration using the newest equipment and first aid techniques show casing their advanced medical skills.

On average the Goulds Lions Division volunteer more than 1900 hours each year to such events as the Sports & Entertainment Horse Racing, Hockey Tournaments, Lions Drive-in Bingo, Regatta, Tour de Shore, and many others!
