VOCM Cares Foundation Provides Generous Donation to the "Ready To Respond" Campaign

St. John Ambulance - NL Council would like to express its sincere gratitude to the VOCM Cares Foundation for providing the "Ready to Respond" Campaign with a generous donation of $10,000. All funds raised will support St. John Ambulance Volunteers in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Below:  Kelly Reid (center) of VOCM Cares Foundation presents the cheque to CEO Glenda Janes (left) and Manager of Marketing and Community Services, Roberta Hewitt (right).

READY TO RESPOND CAMPAIGN

St. John Ambulance - NL Council launched a Ready to Respond Campaign with the first new team member, the Ice Caps Cares and Williams Family Foundations, who provided a generous donation of $5000.

The goal is to raise $50,000 to help support our approximately 400 front line volunteers who provide a number of services throughout the province, including emergency response at public events, provision of First Aid training, and support to the sick and elderly via Therapy Dog visitations.

St. John Ambulance’s services touch the lives of over 275,000 Newfoundlanders and Labradorians each year through the more than 20,000 volunteer hours rendered annually.

To make a donation, please contact our office at (709) 726-4200.
