Request for Therapy Dog Services Visit
St. John Ambulance’s Therapy Dog Services bring the companionship, caring and unconditional love of a dog to individuals who can no longer own a pet due to illness, mobility impairments or accommodation restrictions.

Our Therapy Dog volunteers provide regular, weekly visitation to those who request visits, allowing them to form a bond with “their” therapy dog. The program is extremely rewarding for all involved, and has been a tremendous success since its inception.

Please ensure that there is a minimum of three weeks advance notice when requesting a visit. We will make every effort to ensure that a St. John volunteer is available for the time you requested. Once you have submitted your Visitation Request form (below), a Community Services representative will follow up with you.

Although no fee is charged for therapy dog visitation, we do welcome donations. Donations assist in the cost recovery of transportation, volunteer training and therapy dog assessment requirements and the general operation of our volunteer teams.
