St. John Ambulance is proud to serve thousands of Nova Scotians and Prince Edward Islanders each year though our wide range of training and community service programs.

On Friday, November 14, 2008, the seventh annual Celebration of Community Dinner will be held at the Casino Nova Scotia where we will celebrate 125 years of service and the contributions of our many volunteers and partners who help make our communties better places in which to work, play and live.

The evening will feature pre-dinner entertainment by Mimi Sue and Lala Lee, two young sisters who are amazing audiences with their outstanding piano playing.

After dinner entertainment will feature the Canadian Primos (ages 10 to 16) who are seasoned professionals after recording a CD in 2005 and having two standing ovation performances at the Atlantic Jazz Festival in 2004 and 2005. Their music is Jazz and Latin Jazz with improvised solos that have the maturity of much older players. Under the direction of Jeff Goodspeed this young band is gaining a reputation throughout Nova Scotia as the best young jazz band around.
