Standard Level First Aid
Designed to meet industry, business and government requirements, Standard level first aid is a modular course for those who want to learn more first aid skills.This course provides additional training to enhance basic First Aid  skills.  Includes Adult, Child and Infant Resuscitation with one and two rescue CPR with AED training.
The Standard level first aid course is built on the same core and elective lessons as the Emergency level course. The course includes core and elective lessons as well as a written exam. Standard First Aid is recommended for worksites with 20-99 employees.


Standard First Aid + CPR Level A or CPR Level C with AED
Time: 16 hours (2 days)
Fee: $110 per person

Standard First Aid  + CPR Level A with AED Recertification
Time: 8 hours (1 day)
Fee: $85 per person

Lessons that make up the Standard and Emergency level courses are outlined below.

 Both the Standard First Aid and Emergency First Aid courses include five core lessons (4.5 hours).

  2. Casualty Management - Unresponsive 
  3. Casualty Management - Responsive with Head / Spinal 
  4. Adult Resuscitation (includes AED training) 
  5. Severe Bleeding
  6. Medical Conditions 

There are 18 elective lessons. The Emergency course includes approximately 1.5 hours* of elective content, while the Standard course includes about 7.5 hours.*
