St. John Ambulance First Aid courses are your assurance of quality, flexibility and expertise. Emergency Level First Aid is a state-of-the-art modular course of core first aid skills and other select subjects needed to sustain life and manage the scene of an injury. This course will give you the confidence to help in the event of an emergency.

The Workplace Standard Level First Aid course is built on the same core lessons as the Emergency Level course. The longer length of the course provides the opportunity for students to learn more first aid skills then what is taught in the Emergency Level course.  This course meets the New Brunswick Occupational Health & Safety requirements forfirst aid providers in the workplace.

Workplace First Aid Practice Session
This is a 6 hour practice session designed to meet the WorkSafe NB requirements for those holding an existing Workplace Standard First Aid certification to have 6 hours of practice each year.  The entire Workplace Standard FIrst Aid course must be repeated every 3 years.

Adult, Infant & Child CPR (Level C) and AED
This comprehensive course covers one and two-rescuer CPR, first aid for choking and the safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Health Care Provider First Aid
This course is designed for health care professionals and teaches skills such as artificial respiration, use of a bag valve mask, two-rescuer CPR and much more. 
 
Medical First Responder Advanced Level 1(MFR)
An advanced first aid course that is tailored to meet the needs of police, fire and high risk industry.  It features comprehensive training in most common medical illnesses and injuries.  Some of the topics covered include oxygen therapy, transporting a casualty and emergency childbirth.
 
This course is designed for those who want to become St. John Ambulance Instructors and teach life saving skills to others.  Prerequisites for this course are a valid Workplace Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificate. 
This comprehensive course teaches outdoor first aid strategies for injuries such as gunshot wounds, frostbite and air medevac.  There are detailed scenarios that allow learners the opportunity to practice their skills.
This course addresses the most common types of offshore medical emergencies and covers an expanded range of topics such as pharmacology, radio medical advice, rescue and transportation of casualties, asphyxia, and CPR.

What Every Babysitter Should Know
This course teaches the skills necessary to care for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers.  Topics include safety, first aid, dealing with emergencies, feeding, changing diapers and other baby care techniques.  
 
This course is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 12 and teaches basic first aid skills.  It is ideal for schools and youth groups.  Course materials include a poster kit, an activity book and a Certificate of Participation.
