The Lifesaver
This introductory, non-certificate course is designed to teach essential first aid skills. It's ideal for busy people.
 
Why do you need The Lifesaver?
Too many times, help comes too late.
A child chokes.
A swimmer drowns.
A few seconds of first aid could have saved a life.
 
The St. John Ambulance Lifesaver course is designed specifically to teach essential lifesaving first aid skills to people of all ages—people "who always meant to learn first aid, but never had the time".
You will learn:
  • emergency scene management
  • how to care for shock
  • what to do when someone stops breathing
  • how to help a person who is choking
  • how to control severe bleeding
  • how to care for someone who has fainted and is unconscious
  • what to do if poisoning is suspected
  • how to care for burns
 
Comprehensive, state-of-the-art course materials and St. John Ambulance quality training will give you the first aid skills and confidence to handle emergency situations. The Lifesaver also increases your safety awareness, reducing the risk of serious injury to you and others.
