Medical First Responder is ideal for anyone who must handle first response in an emergency. From emergency professionals such as Firefighters and Police, to industry workers in high-risk environments, this advanced training course can provide you with the skills to save a life when serious injury occurs. Some workplaces are more hazardous than others and this course may be appropriate for a workplace with a comprehensive safety program in place, or those operating in a remote location, away from immediate medical assistance.

This course is a 40-hour intensive training course for students with current Standard First Aid and CPR certification as a prerequisite. All students must complete a pre-study guide prior to course attendance. Training includes 21 core advanced assessment and therapeutic skills, plus electives which can be customized to meet individual needs in the private course format. Due to the advanced nature of this course the frequency is limited for public courses, but offered for a minimum of 6 students for private classes at your location or ours. Includes all course materials, course reference guides and workbooks, stethoscope and penlight for each participant.
