Registration Policy and Information

Application for courses are taken until class is full. Early registration is advised to avoid disappointment.

St. John Ambulance does not issue refunds for any programs. If you can not attend the date you are registered for, you may withdraw from the class and transfer to another course date. A minimum of 3 days prior to class commencement is required for a transfer application. An administration fee of $5.00 is applied to each transfer, with a maximum of 2 transfers.

St. John Ambulance reserves the right to cancel any classes in which the minimum registration is not received or for other reasons as required. Every effort will be made to notify all registrants in the event that a class is cancelled. Clients will be able to transfer to the next available date without an administration fee.

St. John Ambulance provides certificates for courses upon successful completion. Mandatory attendance to all sessions is required and students are evaluated on practical skills as well as on a written multiple choice quiz. Verbal tests are available by request. First Aid certificates are valid for 3 years. It is recommended that CPR certificates are renewed annually.
