First Aid on the Farm is a certified St. John Ambulance First Aid course, with an emphasis on awareness of farming hazards and prevention of injuries. Participants will learn valuable, hands-on first aid skills such as: Emergency Scene Management, Adult and Child CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillation) and Choking Manoeuvres, head and spinal injuries, severe bleeding and wound care, burns and how to recognize and provide first aid for medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, severe allergic reactions and epileptic seizures.
