Standard First Aid with Adult CPR and AED This two-days course effectively provides Adult CPR, First Aid, emergency scene management, wounds, bleeding and much more. Meets WSIB and the Canada Labour Code regulations.
Standard First Aid with Level C CPR and AED
This two-days course is designed for those who wish to go into nursing, community services, police, fire department, and medical courses. This course offers the First Aid along with the Adult, Child, Infant, two rescuer CPR and artificial respiration.
Standard First Aid Renewal This one-day course is for persons holding a valid Standard First Aid certificate who want to renew. Renewal is permissible only once. Students are strongly advised to review their activity book prior to the course. Activity book is not included in the cost of the course but can be purchased through the office.
CPR (ANNUAL RETRAINING IS RECOMMENDED)
Learn how to provide assistance to a person who is choking, or who’s heart has stopped or not breathing.
CPR Level C & AED One-day course. CPR on the Adult, Child and Infant as well as the two-rescuer CPR & artificial respiration.
CPR Recertification A renewal course designed to review knowledge and skills of CPR techniques. Students are advised to review course material before attendance in order to ensure successful completion. Student activity book is not included in the cost of the course. An activity book can be purchased through the office.
Advance Medical First Responder Level 1 This 40 hours course is for those who are considering a career in Community Services such as Firefighting, Police, and Paramedic. Includes Oxygen Administration and AED. Meets the Paramedic Association of Canada Emergency Medical Responder guidelines.
Automated External Defibrillation (AED) – Please contact us Certificate Course geared towards companies who have purchased AED equipment for their job site. Annual recertification of AED is recommended. Your company can be registered with the St. John Ambulance Provincial Medical Director, and standing orders authorizing use of equipment specific to the workplace for an additional fee.
WHMIS –
Please contact us A basic program designed to provide the participant with the basics of WHMIS education and training.
BABYSITTING COURSE A course created for 11 to 14 year age group to help them be responsible for themselves and their safety as well as the care of other children, what questions to ask parents, how to give First Aid and what to do in emergencies, activity book activities, role-playing and hands on practice teaches skills and build confidence. Each student will receive a handbook and a certificate indicating their successful completion of the course.
PRE PAYMENT AND PRE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL OUR COURSES. YOUR CAN REGISTER AND PAY OVER THE PHONE WITH A CREDIT CARD PAYMENT OR COME TO OUR OFFICE AT 65 NEBO ROAD FROM 8:30 TO 4:30 MONDAY TO FRIDAY TO REGISTER AND PAY BY CASH OR DEBIT.
