These courses are designed for the person who is interested in taking a more active role in emergency situations. Students will be introduced to a thorough standardized assessment protocol, oxygen administration and advanced injury management skills. The courses are student oriented with pre-course self-study and evaluation, lots of hands-on scenarios, skills stations and realistic practical sessions to maximize relevance. The First Responder course is scheduled for the first three days and is suitable for employers looking to establish on-site response teams, which can better, handle traumatic injuries. The complete program is suitable for those individuals looking to prepare themselves for emergency service careers. Minimum prerequisite: St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid + CPR Level A Certificate. Textbooks and stethoscope included in course fee.
