Level C CPR and recertification

Course Duration : 8-9 Hours (One Day)

Certification Period :  Annual Recertification Recommended


Recertification : 4-6 Hours     (Day or evening)

A comprehensive CPR course for the professional rescuer, first responder, police, fire and ambulance. Prerequisite for most college and university medical programs and employment in emergency services.

Course Topics Include :

• Emergency Scene Management
• Contacting Emergency Medical Services
• Causes and Prevention of Heart Disease and Stroke
• Recognition and First Aid for Heart Attack and Stroke
• Artificial Respiration: Adult, child and Infant
• Choking: Adult, Child , Infant
• One Rescuer CPR: Adult, Child, Infant
• Two-Rescuer CPR for Adult, Child
• AED Operator Certification

Public courses are available EVERY TWO WEEKS on Sundays from 0830-1630.
 
Recertification courses are available ONCE A MONTH on Wednesday evenings (the 3rd Wednesday of each month) from 1830-2230. Recertification MUST be within 12 months from the date of issue and proof is required upon registration.

Individuals can register by telephone with a credit card, VISA, MC or in person at our office located at 5 Corvus Court during business hours 0830-1600, Monday to Friday or by mail.

Please include your name, address, and day -time phone number as well as complete payment for the course either by cheque or money order. Confirmation of your registration will be either emailed or by mail.

Council accounts can opt for prepayment or be invoiced with proper documentation and/or purchase order by email, mail or faxing to 613-722-7024.
