Instructor Development Program
Course Duration:  60 Hours
(Five Day Instructor Course + 2 Days Monitoring)
Certification Period: 3 Years
 
This is the most comprehensive First Aid and CPR Instructor Course available in Canada. On completion of the course you will be able to certify individuals in:
  • Standard & Emergency First Aid
  • Lifesaver & We Can Help School Programs
  • All levels of CPR including CPR A (Heartsaver) & CPR C (Basic Rescuer)
As an instructor with St.John Ambulance, you will be providing a valuable community service supported by Canada’s largest First Aid and CPR Training Agency.  Being an Instructor can also be a valuable qualification if you are a medical professional or a member of emergency services.
 
PREREQUISITES and CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
  •     Call Instructor Support at 613-722-2002 x214 to schedule an Interview
  •     Bring a Current Police Record Check (original for copying-12 months or less)
  •     Valid St.John Ambulance Standard First Aid Certificate and
  •     Valid Level “C” CPR Certificate (Basic Rescuer)
  •     Successfully complete the written and practical exam with 85% or better   
  •     18 years of Age
Cost:  $445.00
Course monitoring is done at no extra charge at our training facilities on public courses.
(Course Monitoring on site $180.00 per day + GST)

Preferred accounts can opt for prepayment or be invoiced with proper documentation and/or purchase order by faxing to 613-722-7024 or by mail.
   
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
  • All registrations must be prepaid.
  • Cancellations or transfers with ten working days notice will be assessed an administration & materials fee of $50.00.
  • Cancellations or transfers with five working days notice will be  assessed a fee of $180.00.
  • No refunds for cancellations with less than five working days notice.
  • A full refund will be granted if the course is cancelled because of   insufficient registration.
  • Note: Pre-Course exam for all courses to be written before course commencement at candidate’s convenience.
