St. John Ambulance’s (SJA) Ontario Workplace Naloxone Training Program (Funded by the Ministry of Labour) - Update

Thank you to all the Ontario Workplaces that have participated in our Ontario Workplace Naloxone Training (OWNT) Program.

Unfortunately, as of March 31st, 2024, this program’s funding will end, and we will no longer be able to provide free naloxone kits or naloxone training through it.

We have also ended our Ontario Workplace Naloxone Training Program (OWNT+) Plus paid public class options.

We will be continuing to accommodate private group training requests for Ontario Workplaces looking to satisfy the Ontario Bill 88 legislation under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). To request Ontario Workplace Naloxone Training for your workplace, please email rachel.millar@sja.ca.

If you are looking to purchase naloxone kits for your workplace, you may order directly through our preferred vendor's website: www.ordernarcan.ca – Or if you are looking to acquire a free naloxone kit as an individual, please check this resource: Ontario.ca

For any further questions or inquiries, please contact your local St. John Ambulance Branch.
