Activities
Volunteer Medical Response Services are provided at a variety of community settings including:
- public gatherings
- sporting and recreational activities
- disaster or civil emergencies
Impact
Volunteer Medical Responders provide lifesaving first aid and help reduce the risk of further injury or illness.
Without the assistance of our Volunteer Medical Responders, many community-based organizations would not be able to offer first aid coverage at public events. The cost of hiring individuals or groups to provide on-site first aid coverage would be prohibitive for many smaller organizations.
Volunteer Benefits
- community involvement
- advanced first aid and health care training and experience
- life skills to benefit personal career development
